How To Build My Conservatory

In 6 Easy !!!! Steps

Date Started - 1st September 2004

The main task was to decide which conservatory manufacturer to place the order with.  Recommendation is a must for projects like this.  Go and look at other peoples and see the quality.  I done this and as a result I went with MAINSTREAM.  They project manage the whole build from day one until completion and sub contracted the foundation / building work to AJM Building  Services. 

The workmanship of the conservatory and the quality of the build phase was first class.  I would recommend both these companies to anyone.  If you wish to view ours contact me.         

 BEFORE:

This is the area that I will be having the conservatory built.

Step 1 - Week 1

Dig a hole deep enough and wide enough for the concrete footings and re-site any drainage pipes. 

 

 

Step 2 - Week 2

Get a big lorry and fill in the hole you've just made and create a cavity wall with some bricks.
 

 

 

Dont Forget to have a break, its hard work (Teas every 10 minutes).

Step 3 - Week 3

Lay more bricks and blocks for your walls and add the cavity insulation.

Hey, this is easy so far !!!!!

 

Complete the walls, add the French Doors and move the garage door.

 

 

Step 4 - Week 4

First Fix Electrics, then insulate and concrete the floor

 

 

Step 5 - Week 5

Instal windows, french doors and roof..

 

 

Step 6 - Week 6 - Almost Finished

Plaster walls, prepare office furnature and complete archway through into kitchen.
